Delete your MioPrep account
This page explains how to delete the account and data of the app MioPrep.
In the app (fastest)
- Open MioPrep and go to the You tab.
- Tap Account, then Delete account and data.
- Confirm with Delete.
- Deletion is immediate and permanent. You do not need to wait or contact us.
If you never saved an account, your data is only on your phone. The same button erases it from the phone.
Without the app
If you cannot open the app, email support@mioprep.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my MioPrep account”. If you signed in with Apple’s private relay email or with Google, tell us which one and include the account email shown in the app. We check that it is you, then delete within 30 days. This page is the account deletion web address listed for MioPrep on Google Play.
What is deleted
Your profile and preferences, your diet and allergy details, your household membership, typed change requests, recipe reports, support messages, the subscription status record and usage counts for AI features. If you are the only person in your household, the household and everything in it is deleted: plans, meals, the grocery list, favorites and hidden dishes, corrected prices and receipt totals. Your sign-in identity is also deleted, unless you use another one of our apps with the same login. In that case only your MioPrep data is deleted and the login stays so the other app keeps working. We also ask RevenueCat to delete your customer record for MioPrep.
What stays
- A shared household. If other people are still in your household, the shared plan and list stay with them. Your name is removed from them.
- Records we must keep. Transaction records that the law requires for tax and accounting, encrypted backups and provider logs. We keep these only as long as needed for those purposes, then delete or anonymize them. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their policies.
- Anonymous data. Statistics that cannot identify you, and recipes in the shared library, which have no link to you.
Delete only your diet and allergy details
You can keep your account and delete only this data: You > Plan preferences > Delete my diet and allergy data. Your plan then stops following those rules.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first.
